The Swedish Gambling Inspectorate (Spelinspektionen) conducted an annual survey of the Swedes’ gambling habits. The survey carried out at the end of November 2022 showed that 72 percent of all Swedes have gambled for money in the past 12 months.

The survey titled ”General public about gambling” was conducted in collaboration with the survey company SKOP. The annual survey showing the gambling habits of Swedish citizens provides the Swedish Gambling Inspectorate indication of the market volume and the directions regarding potential risks associated with social groups of citizens. Amended Maryland Online Casino Bill Heads to Senate After House Passage
Online casino bill, HB 1319, authored by Maryland Rep. Vanessa Atterbeary, has officially passed the House of Representatives and is on its way to the Senate for approval.

On March 16, the House voted 92-43 in favor of passing Maryland online casino bill. For the adoption of the constitutional amendment three-fifths of the votes were needed.
