GTA 5 Could Have Had A James Bond-Like Story DLC, Actor Says
An increasing focus on Grand Theft Auto Online meant that 2013’s Grand Theft Auto 5 never received any story DLC–but this wasn’t always the plan. Voice actor Steve Ogg, who voiced Trevor, has now said that a planned “Agent Trevor” DLC was already partially shot before Rockstar canceled it, The Loadout reports.
In a recent Q&A stream with Streamily, Ogg confirmed that he recorded lines for the DLC, giving some details on how it would have played. “Trevor was gonna be undercover, he works for the feds,” Ogg said. “And we did shoot some of that stuff with James Bond Trevor. He’s still kind of a fuck-up, but he’s doing his best to pretend to be like… We shot some stuff and then it just disappeared and [Rockstar] never did it, they never followed up on it.”

HBO Max And Discovery+ Will Debut As A Single Streaming Service In 2023
It’s been a bizarre week for HBO Max. Following the unceremonious cancelation of the planned direct-to-streaming Batgirl movie and removal of more than a handful of “under performing” streaming originals from the platform, CEO David Zaslav took to the stage at an investors call to explain the brand’s strategy moving forward.
Of the big announcements made at the call, the least surprising was confirmation that HBO Max and Discovery+ will be merging into one singular streaming platform in 2023. Details about the platform’s name, pricing, and specific content remain a mystery, but the presentation included a slide explaining that it will be both on-demand and live, include ad-free, ad-lite, and ad-only options, with multiple tiers for content like sports, and offe…

Harry Potter Series, Welcome To Derry Moving From Max To HBO
HBO and Max content CEO Casey Bloys announced that major Warner Bros. IP projects, including the upcoming Harry Potter TV show and the It prequel Welcome to Derry, will now be HBO originals instead of Max series. This change, reported by Deadline, marks a strategic shift for big-budget productions.
In addition to Harry Potter and Welcome to Derry, the newly announced Green Lantern series adaptation, Lanterns will also be rebranded as an HBO original. This decision reverses the previous plan to place all Warner Bros. IP series under the Max brand, introduced when Bloys assumed oversight of Max in 2020.
“We felt like we had to delineate between an HBO show and a Max show,” Bloys told Variety. “Using Warner Bros. IP as a delineation for Max felt ri…
HBO's The Last Of Us Series Has 10 Episodes In Season 1
Filming on HBO’s The Last of Us TV series is currently underway in Canada, and now a few more details about the project have come to light from writer Craig Mazin. He revealed this on a Scriptnotes podcast, also confirming that season 1 has five different directors.
Mazin–who previously worked with HBO on the acclaimed Chernobyl mini-series–said the writing for the first three-to-four episodes is “kinda done” (via Collider).
The Last of Us received a straight-to-series order, which means HBO is not filming a pilot episode and is instead launching directly into the series. The same was true for Chernobyl, and Mazin acknowledged that this presents some potential issues, one being that the production team isn’t able to “retool” what they otherwise could have if it was a pilot…
